kool Makes Michael Cerbelli’s Hot List at The Special Event 2010
Today at The Special Event 2010 in New Orleans, we were honored that two of our newest products were on the Michael Cerbelli’s Hot Event and Entertainment Ideas 2010 list at his standing-room-only seminar by the same name. They are…
The Clear Acrylic Candelabra
A new twist on an old flame, this clear acrylic candelabra brings something totally different to the table.
In kool’s signature style, the tabletop piece is made of clear, sturdy acrylic. The four-armed candelabra has also been artfully designed to resemble old-world style with new-world fittings such as a wireless LED base that can highlight the 36”D-by-36”L-by-30”H piece in any color.
Different size candles with interchangeable candle holders – mechanical, pillar or votives – all work and a central 10-inch base accompanies a floral design.
This is one hot idea that too kool!
Clear Viewbox Cocktail Tables
Here’s a new way for designers and guests to view the table … both as form and as function.
We’ve expanded the possibilities of our all-acrylic Viewbox dining tables. The tables still offer designers the ability to create totally custom compositions of color and texture in the six-inch-deep clear box located under the tables, eliminating the need for linen or centerpieces. And each table still is constructed of clear, sturdy acrylic.
But the clear difference is that now the Viewbox tables come in a variety of heights and sizes. We’ve introduced smaller, higher versions for cocktail and bar areas and higher, longer feasting tables. With the added height comes additional layers of view boxes that allow the designer to compose vertically, creating a design that can now be seen from across the room as well as from above.
But wait! There’s more!
We are also expanding the function of our Viewbox tables. A large tabletop enables two bases to be utilized creating a buffet table or registration table. How kool is it to be able to broadcast your message, logo, design or brand inside the table as attendees approach to register?!
A kool, clear vision of what’s on (and under) the table for 2010.
kool News!
kool. Party Rentals has been nominated for a Spotlight Award as Best Rental Company of the Year!
The honor is one of the highest in the events industry (think Oscars for party and wedding planners) and is awarded by Event Solutions magazine at a ceremony in Las Vegas on March 8, 2010.
What sets this award apart from others is that the winners are chosen by our colleagues, friends and clients, making it that much sweeter if we win (more about how to vote below).
As many of you know, kool. Party Rentals worked especially hard this past year with a new location in San Diego, an expanded warehouse, new products and nationwide shipping. And here are four other reasons why we are being considered the Best Rental Company of the Year …
1.
For this ISES event, the intent was to create an over-the-top evening that would showcase a variety of décor ideas, entertainment and cuisine. Hosted by kool. Party Rentals and Shadow Mountain Productions, a scenic design company, the event utilized warehouse and office space at both locations and both of our props and décor to create an event that took place in five totally separate environments. The final environment was the room in which the evening’s speaker, David Merrell of AOO Events would give his presentation. Here (pictured above), the room was given a clean, contemporary vibe with kool’s cream-colored lounge furniture. On stage, our illuminated obelisk-shaped pedestals coupled with a unique stage backdrop created a look of high design.
2.
The San Diego Opening of kool. Party Rentals was part art gallery opening, part who’s who of that city’s event community. The showroom is located in the Little Italy section of San Diego, a hip arts district. The area’s urban design was kool’s inspiration for the space. After one very intense month it was renovated not as a showroom but as an art gallery. Space was allotted for window displays and vignettes of kool’s furniture that focused on color and style.
3.
The premier of 3-D Revolution Tea during Phoenix Fashion Week was held on the rooftop of The Hotel Valley Ho in Scottsdale, overlooking the Camelback Mountain. The setting was spectacular and pure Arizona. Lighting was key and was designed so that the party would glow from within and without. Angelic Grove designed the event so that as the sun set on the hills, the candles in the middle of the lounge would begin to glow. Around the party’s perimeter, kool’s illuminated tables and fabric columns also began to glow creating another light source and a subtle branding opportunity as the logo of 3-D began to appear.
4.
And you! Our clients are the fourth and most important component to making kool. Party Rentals the Best Rental Company! Thank you. We are grateful for clients like you who are willing to try something new, appreciate our level of quality and allow us to test the limits of service, style and product so we may exceed your expectations on every project.
